Regular maintenance
Homeowners need to replace filters and clean fans, fins, and coils to maintain their Guarantee.
Cosmetic damage
Our policy doesn’t cover surface damage that doesn’t affect performance, including aesthetic damage from extreme weather.
Unauthorized modifications
Making changes to the system after installation cancels the Performance Guarantee.
Non-transferable
The Performance Guarantee only covers the original homeowner and doesn't transfer to new homeowners.
Structural changes
Our policy does not cover home modifications like expansions or major renovations that alter heating needs.
Existing temperature imbalances
The Performance Guarantee does not cover pre-existing conditions like temperature across rooms and floors.

How can we help?
We've answered hundreds of questions. Here are the most common ones:
For the first year after installation, all parts and labor are covered. If anything isn’t working as promised, just let us know — we’ll fix it at no cost. This covers workmanship and installer errors and transfers to a new homeowner if the house is sold within that first year.
- Mitsubishi Ducted & Ductless: 12-year parts warranty (non-transferable). Select systems get an extra 2 years as a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer.
- Bosch HP, AO Smith HPWH, LG HPWH, Rheem HPWH, MrCool Hyper Heat (Ducted): 10-year parts warranty (non-transferable).
- MrCool DIY Mini-Splits: 7-year compressor warranty, 5-year parts warranty.
- Emporia EV Chargers: 3-year warranty (non-transferable).
We’ll always replace faulty parts at no cost to you during these periods.
We guarantee your Elephant Energy Heat Pump System will keep your home at a comfortable 68°F (+/- 3°) for 10 years. If it can’t meet that standard between -5°F and 95°F, we’ll repair, upgrade, or even replace it at no extra cost.
Note: The Performance Guarantee only applies to the original owner and does not transfer if the home is sold.
- Regular maintenance: Filters, fans, coils, and cleaning are the homeowner’s responsibility. Skipping maintenance can void the Performance Guarantee.
- Cosmetic damage: Surface scratches or weather damage (like hail) are excluded.
- Unauthorized modifications: Changes to the system after installation void the guarantee.
- Structural changes: Major home renovations that change heating needs are not covered.
- Existing temperature imbalances: Pre-existing uneven heating across rooms or floors is not included.
- Labor: Parts warranties cover only the parts, not labor to replace them.
