"I really enjoyed working with Elephant Energy, although I did not ultimately decide to move forward with the project for reasons not related to their business or quote. I was looking for a heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater to replace my traditional gas-fired heater and water heater. Their sales team (I worked with Allison) was extremely helpful, friendly, and readily available. If there was a technical question she could not answer immediately, she was diligent about following up and getting that answer for me. The quote process was all virtual, with a video walkthrough to help the team understand details of the installation. She was thorough about explaining their processes and next steps. "Although we did not sign a contract with Elephant Energy for our whole-home cold climate heat pump installation, we were very impressed with Allison's professionalism, throughness, and follow-through during the entire process.EE took several factors into consideration when sizing a system for our home, and unlike several of their competitors, they took an aggressive approach when selecting the correct system for our home, avoiding a potentially oversized system that would likely result in excessive cycling and non-optimized operation. EE was not able to schedule an install prior to the expiration of several rebates/credits, so we ended up going with another provider that had availability to complete our installation prior to year end. "Although we *did not* ultimately go with Elephant Energy for our HVAC project, we had an excellent experience working with their rep. - Michelle - she was knowledgeable and patient in answering all our questions and giving us very competitive quotes, as well as discussing some options and technical stuff. The ONLY reason we did not go with Elephant is that we realized - through the process of speaking with Elephant and other vendors - that our house is not well set up to have a dedicated heat pump system, and upgrading electrical service to support the appropriately sized heat pumps would have put the project way out of our budget, given some local constraints. But we hope they continue to give good service to other residents in the greater Boston area whose homes may be better suited."
